Todays clay class was prrrrretty cat-tastic! We had a lot of fun listening to Captain Cat, learning shapes with clay (creating a gnome), creating a simple coil pot, pinch pot and finally creating the final project-a cat!
During class, we start by learning basic shaping techniques. An item is made and then we squish it! Once more we learn a new technique, followed by squishing. At last, our final project is made and the students are welcome to take home their creations. We use air-dry clay for this class.
Everyone did so awesome! We always look forward to our annual clay class.
